They had experienced high volumes of sales for their products in the USA and wanted to have their Amazon store up and running before the Black Friday & Cyber Monday period. Their products, some of which were best sellers on Amazon.com, were ready to be shipped to Amazon FBA in the UK however the listings were not optimized nor were their A+ content ready for upload on to Amazon. They had an in-house team of experts yet Amazon was lacking as an expertise skill in-house.
The client was in an urgent need of getting their Amazon UK listings fully optimized and ready in order to make the most out of the holidays season which was 1.5 months away from when the project started. Their titles, bullet points, keywords, product description, A+ content, imagery and video were all optimized for Amazon USA and not for Amazon UK. As such, the content was in American English & the currency was in dollars as well as various minor details that needed changing. In addition, the client had some new products that they wanted to launch on Amazon UK in conjunction with their Amazon USA account.
At the client kick-off meeting, the Lezzat experts discussed each requirement of the client and presented a clear timeline of steps needed in order to get them done. It was important to get all the client’s content and marketing content centralised in order to have it ready from Day 1 of the project start date. In this first meeting, clear KPIs and a plan of action were shown to the client in order to approve those before the work starts.
As there was a clear deadline to hit, it was important to prioritise all product launch related tasks in order of priority while factoring in the time it takes Amazon to approve certain marketing content on their platform. A+ content was prioritised in order to get that submitted to Amazon and while it was getting approved (7 days) the rest of the work on the content would commence. An imagery analysis was conducted and after client approval for the suggested changes they were passed on to the designers to have those created.
Next stop was to do a thorough keyword analysis while the A+ content and listing imagery were being created. The Lezzat Amazon SEO experts conducted a keyword analysis on existing listings on Amazon USA, the top 10 competitors on Amazon UK as well as seasonal keywords such as black Friday deals and Christmas presents for him. It is important to conduct a full keyword analysis on Amazon as that way you can optimise each child listing within a parent listing on Amazon and with that you can cover a wider range of keywords for your products.
Once the keyword analysis was complete and the title, bullet points, product description, back end keywords and keywords used on A+ were all created they were given to the client for approval. It took 3 business days for Lezzat to have all these ready for over 32 ASINs. After the Client’s approval, the content was ready to be uploaded just in time when the A+ content was approved.
Once all the content was created and proposals created the account management team of Lezzat communicated this to the client for their approval before uploading on to Amazon.
