Business Development Manager?

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a high-performing, results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our Amazon client portfolio and drive new revenue opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in outbound sales, understands the Amazon ecosystem, and can confidently engage eCommerce brands in strategic growth conversations.

You will play a key role in identifying potential clients, qualifying opportunities, and converting prospects into long-term agency partners.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and target high-potential Amazon sellers and eCommerce brands.
  • Develop and execute strategic outbound campaigns (email, LinkedIn, video outreach).
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline aligned with revenue targets.

Opportunity Qualification & Account Review

  • Conduct preliminary audits of Amazon accounts (listings, PPC, SEO, overall performance).
  • Identify growth gaps and position tailored solutions based on client needs.
  • Qualify leads based on budget, readiness, and strategic fit.

Outbound Sales & Relationship Building

  • Initiate and nurture conversations with decision-makers (brand owners, founders, eCommerce managers).
  • Communicate our value proposition clearly and confidently.
  • Overcome objections and guide prospects through the decision-making process.

Appointment Setting & Sales Coordination

  • Schedule and coordinate strategy calls between prospects and Account Executives.
  • Ensure seamless handover with proper documentation, account insights, and opportunity notes.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline forecasting.

Who We’re Looking For

Amazon & eCommerce Expertise

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an Amazon agency, eCommerce brand, or digital marketing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central, PPC advertising, listing optimization, and growth strategies.
  • Ability to speak confidently about Amazon performance metrics and marketplace dynamics.

Sales & Commercial Acumen

  • Proven track record in lead generation, outbound sales, or business development.
  • Strong ability to identify revenue opportunities and close new business.
  • Comfortable working with sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.

Analytical & Strategic Thinking

  • Ability to interpret key Amazon metrics (ACOS, TACOS, CVR, CTR, ROAS, ranking, etc.).
  • Capable of identifying performance gaps and positioning strategic recommendations.

CRM & Process Discipline

  • Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines and track conversion stages.
  • Organized and process-driven with strong follow-up habits.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Confident leading discovery calls and engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented in a remote environment.
  • Strong time management and pipeline prioritization skills.
  • Resilient, proactive, and growth-focused mindset.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across PPC, creative, and account teams.
